The Final Countdown

Wow, so less than a week till my scenery changes from the rolling hills of North Florida to the concrete and asphalt jungle of my future inhabitance. I still have a good load of packing and organizing to do, as well as some final visits to family and friends before I ship out. Overall, it's been one of the most fun, exciting, and growth-filled summers I think I have ever experienced. So heres to a great summer and one crazy fall. Somehow i don't think things will ever be quite the same again...

::EDIT::

It would seem our departure might be halted by Tropical Storm Fay, but, hopefully my demons of the past will not be exorcised...

Also, I own more stuff that I imagined.

i'm glad we got to hang out for 2 1/2 weeks of this summer. it made MY summer one of the best ever, and since things will "never quite be the same" after you leave...i'm glad we got to hang out before NYC corrupts you. ;)

but really, i hope the trip out there goes well, and i'll look forward to hearing about all the new experiences of life in the city with that kelly kid! :)

p.s. the title of this post makes me think of that 80's song that is played in *cough* arrested development...[the tune of which is now stuck in my head, thanks]
